Welcome, fellow fly fishers, to my site. Fly-fishing is my passion no matter what the species. You name it, I'll fish it - muskie, pike, trout, bass, basically anything that swims, even carp. I love to be on the water. This passion for fly-fishing flows naturally to the art of fly-tying, which is a way of life rather than a hobby. I've been involved in fly-tying for over 20 years. My main goal has been to develop fly patterns that not only resemble the natural appearance, but also convey movement and vibration in an attempt to mimic the acoustic footprint of a prey item .. A four dimensional approach, if you like.
New Flies for 2012
I'm now offering a few new flies: the Impulse T- Bunny ( T for top water) and the Impulse Bunny, this is a subsurface version as seen in the picture above. These flies use a walk-the-dog type action with the hook point in the up position, this unique approach offers some very cool benefits when it comes to fishing heavy cover. Also new is the Muskie Angle, this fly is a realistic bait-fish imtation that rides hook point up the same as the Impules bunny. Its action can be describe as erratic zagging that drives muskie and pike crazy. The Muskie Angel is about 8" long comes with a rattle and a high quality 5/0 Gamakatsu stinger hook.
